Deepika Ignites Clashes With ‘Spirit’ Again

Back then, when Deepika Padukone was shunted out of Superstar Prabhas’ Spirit movie, the actress’s team made lots of allegations about the script and other things through their PR Machinery in Bollywood. Also, the actress stated that, like men, she should also get limited work hours and more pay, and many other things.

Though the issue has died off, recently producer Pranaya Reddy Vanga, Sandeep Vanga’s brother, has stated that the actress has demanded more pay, work hours adjustment and also a 10% share in profits, which the producers felt is too much. Now, some Bollywood media pages, which support Deepika Padukone, wrote, “A woman rejected a deal and misogyny couldn’t handle a woman’s no”, and termed this as a male-ego crisis of Sandeep Vanga. Guess what, Deepika has immediately liked the post, agreeing with what was shared.

However, this could be seen as something that Deepika has demanded more than what she’s actually worth, and the deal was rejected by Vanga itself. None of Deepika’s films has ever collected more than ₹100 crores at the box office, and she demands a 10% profit share from a filmmaker whose movies are collecting more than ₹500 crores. Well, folks are laughing at Deepika now for a reason.
