Like a strong tide that rises high before slowly receding, *Devara: Part 1* saw an impressive start but has since experienced a gradual dip in its box office performance. After eight days, the film's total collection stands at an impressive Rs 221.85 crore (Nett). While the film initially managed to meet the high expectations surrounding it, its momentum has slowed in recent days.

On its opening day, *Devara: Part 1* made a massive splash, raking in Rs 82.5 crore across all languages. The Jr NTR starrer rode high on the wave of excitement, especially in the Telugu-speaking regions. However, as the days passed, the film's numbers began to decline, particularly in its Telugu version, while the Hindi version showed more stable performance.

The film saw a boost midweek, pulling in Rs 20 crore thanks to the Gandhi Jayanti holiday, but it struggled to maintain that momentum. By Thursday, earnings dropped to Rs 7.25 crore, and on Day 8 (Friday), the film managed Rs 6.25 crore across all languages, bringing the total collection to Rs 221.85 crore.

Part of the slowdown may be due to competition from the Hollywood release *Joker: Folie à Deux*, which hit theaters three days ago. Additionally, the festive season of Navratri might be drawing potential audiences away, as many opt for celebrations like garba nights instead of visiting the cinema. However, there’s hope that the weekend could bring a resurgence in footfall for the film.
