Devara Earns U/A Certificate After CBFC Cuts Key Scene!
The film, which is set to hit theaters on September 27, recently completed its censor process.
Jr NTR's highly anticipated film, Devara Part 1, has secured a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after undergoing several modifications.
The film, which is set to hit theaters on September 27, recently completed its censor process. The CBFC required the filmmakers to make four changes, primarily focusing on reducing violence.
One of the most notable cuts involved a scene where a character kicks his wife. The direct kick to the stomach was removed upon the CBFC's request. Additionally, a scene where a character kicks his mother was also modified. Another scene depicting a person's body impaled on a sword was shortened.
Furthermore, the CBFC directed the filmmakers to add a CGI mark during a scene featuring Jr NTR riding a shark to clarify that it was computer-generated.
Despite these changes, Devara Part 1 has retained its U/A rating. The film, which has a runtime of 2 hours and 18 minutes, promises to be an action-packed and visually stunning cinematic experience.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara Part 1 boasts an impressive cast, including Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. The film will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
