Did NTR Drop Devara Sequel? What Fans Need To Know?

NTR followed up epic RRR with Devara which turned out to be a reasonable success. But ever since, there has been growing discussion about the possible sequel for the film and this has led to a lot of confusion thus far.

The latest discussion around Devara Part 2 has created confusion among fans, mainly because rumours are spreading that the sequel has been cancelled. The report mentions that some people claim Koratala Siva prepared a new version of the script but Jr NTR reportedly felt the story was not coming together well.

Because of this, social media chatter suggested that the sequel was dropped. At the same time, the article also states that others believe these are only rumours and that there is nothing serious behind them. Since there is no official statement from the makers, fans are asking for clarity. The fact that Devara Part 1 has still not had its television premiere has added to the curiosity.

However, Jr NTR has already responded in several interviews. He clearly said that Devara Part 2 is not cancelled and that it will definitely happen. He explained that the team is only taking a pause because of his upcoming project with director Prashanth Neel.

Earlier, he also mentioned that Part 1 tells only half the story and that the sequel will explore the world and characters in a deeper way. For now, it appears that the project is delayed but certainly not abandoned.
