Dhanush Speaks Out After Producers’ Council Reverses Action!
However, the ban has now been lifted following a meeting between Dhanush and the council members.
Tamil film actor Dhanush faced a temporary ban from the Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TPFC) in August due to alleged financial disputes with Sri Thenandal Films. However, the ban has now been lifted following a meeting between Dhanush and the council members.
Dhanush offered assurances regarding his commitment to resolving the issues, leading to the council's decision to lift the ban for one film. The actor has since announced that all matters have been settled amicably with producers Kathiresan and Murali Ramasamy.
Dhanush expressed his gratitude to the South Indian Artistes’ Association (Nadigar Sangam) for their intervention in resolving the dispute. He acknowledged the efforts of the Producers’ Council, the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI), and the South Indian Actors’ Association in reaching a mutually beneficial agreement.
With the ban lifted, Dhanush has resumed shooting for his upcoming projects. His next directorial venture will feature Arun Vijay in the lead role, while he will also be collaborating with Prakash Raj on another film. Dhanush's recent film, "Raayan," was a box office success, grossing over Rs 160 crore.
Dhanush's upcoming projects include "Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam," a romantic comedy produced under his banner Wunderbar Productions. His continued success and active involvement in the industry demonstrate his dedication to his craft and his ability to navigate challenges.
