Dhanush Into Politics? Director Spills Beans
It was said earlier that as Vijay consolidated the minority vote bank and properly targeted the backward classes to win the election
Without giving any single clue in the last 10 years, Tamil hero Vijay first started a charity organisation, then added his fan associations to the effort, and started building houses for the poor and helping the needy with medical treatments and other things. Slowly, he turned that into a political party and even won the election before becoming Chief Minister. Is other Tamil hero Dhanush going the same way?
It was said earlier that as Vijay consolidated the minority vote bank and properly targeted the backward classes to win the election, parties like AIADMK with support from the BJP are looking forward for a proper ‘spiritual’ candidate to counter the incumbent Chief Minister. Who is better than Dhanush when it comes to such stature, and they are said to have run after him to come into politics and make big moves.
For now, directors like Rajkumar Periasamy, who worked with Dhanush for the upcoming film OM, have clarified that the actor has almost 4-5 films lined up and can’t be free to do anything for the next 2-3 years. Anyway, if at all Dhanush wants to come into politics, the director feels that he will make a move soon, but he hasn’t felt anything such.
Well, Tamil Nadu is known for some quick decisions, and who knows, Dhanush might also decide 6 months before the next election about his political journey and make a statement then.
