Dhruv Vikram Teams Up with Debut Director for New Film DV4

Actor Dhruv Vikram has officially started work on his next movie, which is currently being called DV4. The film was launched with a traditional pooja ceremony on Thursday. It marks Dhruv's fourth film as a lead actor and also becomes the fourth Tamil production from Mythri Movie Makers.

The new project will be directed by Karan A Kumar, who is making his directorial debut. Although this is his first film as a director, Karan has worked in the film industry for several years. He earlier worked as an assistant director on Adithya Varma and Sorgavaasal. He also contributed as a writer to the upcoming film Karuppu.

The makers have not shared the full story of the film yet. However, they have confirmed that DV4 will be a complete commercial entertainer packed with action and entertainment. The screenplay has been written by Karan A Kumar along with writer Sabari Nath.

The movie also features actors Prithvi Pandiarajan and Sai Deena in important roles. More details about the remaining cast are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The technical team includes cinematographer Viki, editor Jayasuriya, costume designer Praveen Raja, production designer GM Sekhar, and action choreographer Vikram Mor. Several members of the film industry attended the launch event, including producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, along with directors Adhik Ravichandran and Keerthiswaran.

There are strong hints that Dhruv may once again play a sportsman in this film. Earlier this year, he shared videos of himself practicing kickboxing on social media with the caption, "New film. New skill. New sport. New drill." He also recently posted a picture showing a rugged action look, increasing curiosity among fans. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the film's genre.

Dhruv Vikram was last seen in Mahaan, alongside his father Vikram. Fans are also eagerly waiting for his upcoming film Bison Kaalamaadan. With DV4 now officially launched, expectations are high that the young actor will deliver another energetic performance in a mass entertainer.
