Dhurandhar 2 Footfalls Create Record: Can It Beat Pushpa 2?

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, and with the likes of Sanjay Dutt and Arjuna Rampal as the major villains, is seeing the best at the Box Office right now despite the likes of IPL 2026 and hot summer affecting its run to an extent. The film has so far collected a little over ₹1400 crores from the global box office. However, if we look at the footfalls for this movie across India, there are records created, some of which are yet to be broken.

According to industry reports, Dhurandhar 2 has registered more than 3 crores footfalls in theatres across the Indian nation. So far, after the Covid-2020 era, only films like Gadar 2, Jawan, Stree 2, Chava, and the first part of Dhurandhar have managed to register such a huge footfall from Bollywood. However, the Telugu film Pushpa 2’s dubbed version still holds the record for registered highest footfalls, as the film managed to pull more than 4 crores footfalls with its Hindi version alone. But Dhurandhar should appreciate that with the two parts combined, the film has sold more than 8 crores tickets so far, and it collected over ₹3000 crores from both the parts if all sources of revenue are combined.

Though the Telugu and other Southern versions of Dhurandhar 2 have slowed down, the Hindi version is doing well in all the metro cities across the South, while it’s doing amazing in Mumbai and Delhi. The film might collect another good ₹200 crores easily from the Indian box office alone, as there are no major releases in the coming days, until the likes of Yash’s Toxic arrive in the first week of June.
