The upcoming Bollywood film Dhurandhar 2 is already creating huge excitement among movie lovers even before its release. The spy action thriller, starring Ranveer Singh, is the sequel to the blockbuster movie Dhurandhar. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19, but the advance ticket bookings have already surprised the film industry.

According to trade reports, Dhurandhar 2 has collected around ₹120 crore worldwide through advance bookings alone. This is a very big achievement for a film even before its release. Because of this huge response, the movie has already broken several records set by many big Indian films.

The makers have planned special premiere shows for the movie on March 18, one day before the official release. These premiere shows have also received a fantastic response from the audience. Reports say that the film has already earned about ₹32.44 crore from premiere show bookings alone. This number may go even higher and could cross ₹40 crore before the movie actually releases.

Interestingly, this has already broken the record of Pawan Kalyan’s film OG, which collected about ₹25 crore from premiere shows when it released in 2025. With Dhurandhar 2, Ranveer Singh has now set a new record in premiere advance bookings.

The demand for regular shows is also very high. Ticket bookings for the first two days have seen a huge rush. Nearly 10 lakh tickets have already been sold for the early days of the film. Trade analysts say that the film’s advance bookings in India alone have crossed ₹60 crore for the first weekend.

The movie is also performing very well in overseas markets. In North America, Dhurandhar 2 has crossed 5 million dollars in pre-sales. This makes it the first Indian film to achieve this milestone before release. Popular movies like Pathaan, RRR, and Baahubali 2 earned more than 4 million dollars in pre-sales, but they did not reach the 5 million dollar mark.

When the collections from India and overseas are combined, the total advance bookings have crossed 6 million dollars worldwide, which is around ₹120 crore. Since there are still a few days left for the release, trade experts believe that the advance bookings may cross ₹150 crore.
