Dhurandhar Effect: Will Peddi And Toxic Take This Advice?

The super success of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna and Sara Arjun in the leads, is overwhelming that the whole of Bollywood is now looking forward to changing their writing dynamics. After the film has collected more than ₹1100 crores collection already, one could understand how earth-shattering for Dhurandhar 2 will be like.

As Dhurandhar 2 is hitting cinemas in March, one could say that if the first part has already beaten the collections of Baahubali 2 and is likely to beat KGF2, what would the second part be like? But if the film meets expectations, then surely it would be tough for other films to take on the impact. And the two big March releases we have are KGF fame Yash’s Toxic and Ram Charan’s Peddi.

For the same reasons, trade experts, distributors, and exhibitors are asking Peddi and Toxic to move out their release date from that month and space it with at least a month's gap. Though it would help these films in Bollywood with that spacing, giving that gap wouldn’t make any sense in the respective local territories.

So we have to see if Toxic and Peddi retain their original Kannada and Telugu-centric release dates, respectively, or would alter their plans due to Dhurandhar 2's impact.
