One of the best moments for the film industry across the tinsel towns in India is that people should be madly waiting for a film to hit theatres, and should celebrate the arrival of a film like a festival. For almost a decade, that kind of situation could be seen in India right now, as most film lovers are heading to theatres in a grand way this weekend.

Dhurandhar 2 is hitting cinemas on March 19th, and the film will premiere on the evening of March 18th. If we check into the euphoria, BookMyShow servers are getting crashed and tickets at major theatres like Allu Cinemas are unavailable. All major theatre chains like AMB Cinemas and Prasads PCX are getting massive ticket requests from VIPs, all this is happening for the movie that happens to be a Part 2 of a film that was released just 3 months ago, which happens to be Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar.

When was the last time this happened? Only for SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 that released in 2017, this kind of eu[phoria was felt in theatres. They have waited for two years for Part 2 to come, and the big question of #WhyKattappaKilledBaahubali went viral like anything. After 9 years, people are literally going mad for a film, thanks to Dhurandhar 2 for weaving such magic.

On the other hand, while openings are going to be earth shattering for Dhurandhar 2, aka Dhurandhar: The Revenge, people are hoping that the film will live up to the hype and meets expectations, such that it would join the elite league of films like Baahubali 2, KGF 2 and Kantara 2, which have succeeded big time after the Part 1 worked out tremendously.
