The news of talented actor Akshaye Khanna walking out of the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 is making headlines in a different way every day.
The latest buzz is that he has demanded nearly ₹21 crores for the role, and that’s the reason for his exit after the stupendous success of “Dhurandar” at the Box Office, where his role of Rahman Dakait got immense applause.
The director of Bollywood’s Drishyam 3, Abhishek Pathak, has revealed that Akshaye Khanna refused to work on the film because he wanted to wear a wig this time, similar to his role in Dhurandhar. But in previous versions, he appears without a wig, and that’s why the director hasn’t given the green signal for his demand. Also, the director clarified that Akshaye demanded huge, but hasn’t confirmed the ₹21 crore number, and stated that they have agreed on one number and locked that too.
However, even before the release of Dhurandhar in 1st week of December, Akshaye Khanna took a fat paycheck and signed Drishyam 3, but now, he wants to walk out, the director confirms. Considering the fame Askhaye received from the Ranveer Singh directorial, surely he would have thought that doing a solo film or big-ticket movie would be good for his career rather than this small character role in Drishyam 3.
Drishyam features Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Shriya Saran in key roles.
