Suhas is one of the young heroes in Telugu cinema who is undergoing a rough phase currently. The talented actor shot to fame with Colour Photo, which streamed on Aha during the COVID time. After that, none of his recent efforts have quite hit the mark.

One contributing factor could be that some of Suhas' older projects, like Sriranga Neethulu or Gorre Puranam, may have been intended for OTT platforms or YouTube, but the market dynamics have changed. With the OTT industry seeing a downturn, Suhas' films are now being released in theaters first, and this frequent appearance on the big screen might be affecting audience interest.

While Writer Padmabhushan is one of his better films lately, many of his other projects—Ambajipeta Marriage Band, Prasanna Vadanam, and Janaka Aithe Ganaka—have fallen flat, either due to weak scripts or underwhelming execution.

Despite his best efforts, these films haven’t been able to create the impact needed to sustain his momentum. The problem might also lie in Suhas’ positioning as a solo lead in films released too frequently. While occasional strong character-driven roles can help maintain interest, releasing back-to-back films that fail to connect with the audience could be diluting his appeal.

Suhas may need to rethink his strategy and focus on well-rounded, strong roles that play to his strengths, rather than churning out films in quick succession.
