Anti-Camp Trying For ‘The Paradise’ Rights?
In fact, Nani’s The Paradise is being produced by Sudhkar Cherukuri, a close ally of Mythri Movie Makers.
In recent times, especially during the release of “Peddi”, the fight between Tollywood’s two biggest camps, one led by Mythri Movie Makers and the other faction headed by Dil Raju, has reached new peaks. Though there are huge conflicts between Mythri and Dil Raju’s teams, after the former entered the distribution business in Nizam, they somehow got resolved for Peddi. After that, there’s no such discussion for other films, but the industry is expecting that “The Paradise” might flare up the issues again. But here’s the big twist.
In fact, Nani’s The Paradise is being produced by Sudhkar Cherukuri, a close ally of Mythri Movie Makers. However, right now, a big deal to own the theatrical rights of the movie at a whopping price of ₹110 crores was offered by none other than Dil Raju, as per the insider talk. If Dil Raju owns the rights to “The Paradise”, surely there will be no conflict in the Nizam area, as most exhibitors who are demanding the percentage system will listen to him big time. However, if this anti-camp bags rights to the films, what would Mythri Movie Makers’ moves be like?
Industry experts hope that if Dil Raju buys the rights to The Paradise, at least the rivalry between the two camps will cool down. Because for The Paradise, even Mythri Movie Makers are part of carving the movie, as they too have funded the movie behind the curtains. On that note, many are wondering if The Paradise will announce the new date of release, after August 21st has already.
