Dil Raju's Master Plan To Conquer Bollywood Revealed

Ace producer Dil Raju has slowed down these days after some back-to-back disasters affecting his reputation in the Telugu states. The flop show of movies like big-budget Game Changer and Nithin’s Tammudu has made him take a backseat. That doesn’t mean the ace producer is slowing down, however.

While Dil Raju recently announced Yellamma with Devi Sri Prasad in the lead, and directed by Balagam fame Venu Yeldandi, the ace producer has chalked out plans to conquer Bollywood yet again. Earlier, he has made sure to remake films like HIT and Jersey in Hindi, and both the joint ventures with other producers have ended up failing.

Now, Raju took his superhit Sankranthiki Vastunnam to Bollywood with none other than Akshay Kumar in the lead, reprising the shoes of Venkatesh. To be directed by comedy actioner movies fame Anees Bazmi, the film will have Vidya Balan playing Aishwarya Rajesh’s role of wife, and Raashi Khanna appearing in Meenakshi Chaudhury’s ex-GF role. This is a big move for the Telugu producer, we have to say.

At the same time, Dil Raju’s close associate, director Vamshi Paidipally, is trying to get Salman Khan aboard for a movie, and if that works, that would be the producer’s first straight Hindi film. The producer’s team is hopeful that these two projects take Dil Raju to the next level in Bollywood.
