Talk: Will Dil Raju Do Justice To ‘Scene’?
In fact, ace producer Dil Raju acquired distribution of Suriya’s Scene in Nizam, but then he has to showcase Ramayana in the maximum number of theatres as he acquired Ramayana rights too.
Coming back from the super success of Karuppu, which made more than ₹300 crores from the box office, followed by Viswanath & Sons, which also became a reasonable blockbuster, hero Suriya is already coming up with the third release of the year. His next film “Scene” is set for Diwali eve release on November 6th, and here is how the film is getting placed in Telugu states.
In fact, ace producer Dil Raju acquired distribution of Suriya’s Scene in Nizam, but then he has to showcase Ramayana in the maximum number of theatres as he acquired Ramayana rights too. As Ramayana is getting positive talk from screenings, definitely he would want to make that film to more screens than “Scene” in the current situation. At the same time, the other theatres that are in Mythri Movie Makers’ fold continue to exhibit #AK47 and Ranabaali only, thus giving no big scope for Scene screens to be expanded.
In fact, dubbed films used to get terrific screens all the time in Telugu states when Telugu films are not in the race, but this time, another dubbed film, Ramayana, is actually taking over the Tamil dubbed Scene. However, the positive point is that the scene is directed by Aavesham fame filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, and that’s the biggest strength of the movie. We have to see what fate awaits the movie on November 6th anyway.
