Dil Raju’s Massive ‘Sankranthi’ Plan With Hindi Film?

Ace producer Dil Raju does not have a single film in Tollywood with some big stars, though he has carved out some big movies like Sankranthiki Vastunnam and Game Changer in recent times. However, the producer is not entirely idle and wants to speak with authority through his upcoming Hindi films. He has a new film starring Salman Khan, and then another film with Akshay Kumar is on the floors already. Here’s what his upcoming pan-India films are like, if reports are anything to go by.

Already, Akshay Kumar and Dil Raju’s film, a remake of Sankranthiki Vastunnam, has completed 40% of the shooting as per reports, and the film will be hitting cinemas either in the Diwali season or the Christmas season. That means an October or December 2026 release is imminent for those movies. Then comes Salman Khan’s film, which is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally. While Sankranthi is not a big season up north, Dil Raju is of the opinion that he will release the film in Hindi and simultaneously in Telugu on the eve of Sankranthi only. With him having many theatres in hand in the Telugu states, that’s an easy task for him.

However, the dubbed Telugu versions of some Hindi films haven’t done so well in Telugu states. Even Dhurandhar 2 has collected below ₹30 crores gross from the Telugu belt. So naturally, the question would be, how would Dil Raju get such a massive film click here in the Telugu states? Reports are coming that Salman Khan will be promoting the film aggressively in the Telugu states, so that it will get a grand reception here. However, for now this is just planning with nothing concrete. Once the shooting is wrapped, more clarity will come on this.

For now, the film is being promoted as Eid 2027 release (March 2027 release), and Dil Raju is thinking to convince Salman Khan for an early release.
