Harish Shankar Unexpectedly Back on Track
Known for his entertaining films, director Harish Shankar has had a very turbulent few years
Known for his entertaining films, director Harish Shankar has had a very turbulent few years. His biggest hit, "Gabbar Singh," brought him recognition from the film business and the public at large. But in his next initiatives, Harish faced more obstacles.
His admiration for Power Star Pawan Kalyan led them to collaborate on "Ustaad Bhagat Singh." Unfortunately, the film encountered numerous hurdles due to Pawan Kalyan's unpredictable schedule, causing significant delays.
Despite initiating shooting in April 2023, interruptions persisted, primarily because of Pawan Kalyan's political commitments, leaving Harish stranded with the project. Faced with the prolonged uncertainty, Harish opted to venture into other film opportunities, pitching a script to Ravi Teja.
However, Ravi Teja had already committed to a project with director Gopichand Malineni, delaying Harish's prospects yet again. Interestingly, recent reports indicate that Gopichand Malineni's film has hit a roadblock due to budget constraints, potentially paving the way for Harish Shankar's new movie to take center stage.
After grappling with incomplete projects for almost four years, Harish Shankar seems to have caught a break. With the chance to finally move forward on his new film, it appears that the director is ready to seize the opportunity and get back into action after a challenging period marked by setbacks and uncertainties.
