Dragon Teaser: Jr NTR Roars in Prashanth Neel’s Powerful Film

The much-awaited teaser of Dragon starring Jr NTR has finally been released, and fans are already calling it one of the biggest cinematic surprises of 2026. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film was earlier known as NTRNeel. The makers officially revealed the title along with a powerful teaser just before Jr NTR’s birthday.

The teaser introduces Jr NTR in a rugged and intense role unlike anything fans have seen before. His fierce screen presence, rough look, and action-filled appearance have quickly become a major topic on social media. The actor appears in a dark and violent world that is packed with tension, emotion and power struggles.

Set in the late 1960s, Dragon explores a dangerous backdrop linked to the illegal opium trade and the Golden Triangle region. The teaser hints at a story filled with crime, betrayal, and deadly rivalries. Jr NTR plays a powerful character named Luger, who is described as the Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company. His character seems to stand at the center of the film’s conflict.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor also plays an important role in the movie. He appears as Raghuveer Rathod, the Chief of India’s Narcotics Bureau. The teaser suggests a serious battle between powerful groups, making the film look intense and action-heavy. Meanwhile in teaser Jr NTR is introduced as Devil while Anil Kapoor is said to be as hero.

The visuals in the teaser have impressed audiences greatly. Prashanth Neel, who previously delivered blockbuster films like KGF and Salaar, once again brings his signature dark style and mass presentation.
