Rockstar DSP To Compose Music For Sekhar Kammula!

Director Sekhar Kammula made a mark for himself in Tollywood with his sensible films. He came at a time when filmmakers were carving out run-of-the-mill commercial entertainers and gave the audience something refreshing. He gave us breezy romantic entertainers with relatable characters, simple scenes and touching drama. Whether it is 'Happy Days' or 'Godavari' or 'Anand' or 'Fidaa' or 'Love Story', his signature is all over those films.

On the other hand, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is one of the biggest music composers in Tollywood for more than two decades. Right from the time when he entered the industry in early 2000s, he became instantly famous and his energetic songs ruled all our playlists. He knows how to deliver to big heroes and delivered a lot of commercial albums. He provides magical melodies, thumping introduction songs and chartbuster item songs and what not. He is a very versatile music composer but he is not someone who you associate with soft films.

But sources claim that DSP is going to be the music director of Sekhar Kammula's next film with star hero Dhanush. Kammula never worked with stars before and he is now directing Dhanush and Devi is a star composer too. It will be very interesting to see what this collaboration produces. Being a multilingual film, having hit music and getting big names onboard is important for the commercial purposes. Devi is famous in both Telugu as well as Tamil. He recently won a National Award in 'Pushpa' too. The audience are also curious to see if Sekhar Kammula and Devi Sri Prasad really team up or not.
