Dulquer Salmaan had pinned a lot of hope on Kaantha, but the film sadly crashed at the box office. Instead of sitting quietly and sulking, he moved on fast and surprised everyone with the first look of his new film I’M GAME. The poster dropped online, and honestly, it looks like Dulquer is coming back with a punch this time.

The first-look shows him in a rough, intense mood, sharp suit, blood on his hand, gun in the other, and sitting on a bright red couch like he owns that whole room. Different characters are scattered around him, hinting at a world packed with crime and messy drama. Dulquer didn’t reveal any major details yet, but fans don’t really care, they're already shouting “comeback mode”. He shared the poster on Instagram with a simple “R E A D Y ??”, which was enough to set the internet buzzing.

His last release was Kaantha, a film set in 1950s Madras. It showed the tense relationship between rising star Mahadevan (Dulquer) and his mentor Ayya (Samuthirakani). The movie had a strong cast, Bhagyashri Borse as the love interest and Rana Daggubati as Inspector Devaraj, but it still struggled with mixed reviews and even some legal noise. Many thought it was based on MKT, but Dulquer and Rana kept saying it was fictional. The film got delayed too because Dulquer wanted Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra (which he produced) to continue its dream run.

Now, with I’M GAME, Dulquer seems to be hitting the refresh button. The raw, rugged look already feels like a solid bounce-back after the Kaantha disappointment. Fans just hope this one brings him back into winning form.
