'Dunki' Team Stuck In A Dilemma!

While it is still November, the entire movie world is talking about the box-office clash between 'Salaar' and 'Dunki'. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have teamed up for the first time in 'Dunki' which is going to be a heartwarming tale with good entertainment. While they are not backing out of the race, the makers mentioned 'For Christmas' in the First Drop as well as a few posters instead of announcing the exact date.

On the flip side, the team of 'Salaar' cleared all the rumors by releasing Diwali posters which confirm that this action saga will be hitting the big screens worldwide on 22nd December. The trailer will also be launched on 1st December in a grand manner. As per reports, 'Dunki' makers are fixed in a dilemma between two release dates.

The first one is 21st December as announced before. It gives a free run at the box office on the first day. They can release it grandly in a massive number of theatres across the globe. But 'Aquaman' is going to restrict the overseas collections and if 'Salaar' manages to get a hit talk on the 22nd, 'Dunki' may not get good money from South India.

25th December is another option as it gives some space between the movies. But 'Dunki' will be sacrificing the long weekend if they release the film on Christmas. SRK and his team are beating their brains out in order to find the perfect day. All of this has to be confirmed in a week or two as the distributors are already pressuring the makers.

Also, the 'Dunki' team's promotions will have to be on par with the 'Salaar' team who are planning to go all guns blazing after the trailer release. It is Prasanth Neel versus Rajkumar Hirani as they both are masters in their own brand of films.

Tapsee Pannu is the female lead in this film which will be produced jointly by JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films. The makers have already announced that the much-awaited movie will be released on 22nd December 2023. Vicky Kaushal is playing a key role in it as well.
