Release Dates To Be Adjusted For Elections!
If the election fever grips the state completely, the audience may not be interested in watching movies for a week or two.
The Telangana elections are about to arrive in December. While the movies released after the 20th may not have a lot of problems as the state elections might be done by that time, the movies that are released before the Christmas weekend and during the first week of December are now in a dilemma.
If the election fever grips the state completely, the audience may not be interested in watching movies for a week or two. There are movies like Nani's 'Hi Nanna' and Nithiin's 'Extra Ordinary Man' releasing in the first two weeks of December. Venkatesh's action thriller 'Saindhav' is also in that list. All the movies are waiting for the election dates to arrive in order to change their releases accordingly.
With biggies lined up for Christmas, the makers of the above-mentioned films have to either push their releases ahead or go to January which is a huge competition in itself. There may be a chance that the movies may get postponed to February too. They are already in a huge dilemma with Prabhas' 'Salaar' entering the December race directly. There is no chance for them to use the Christmas and New Year holidays. With the elections arriving in December, the makers of all these films are getting worried a lot. Let us wait and see what happens.
