That Scene In Euphoria Is The Most Disgusting One

Talented director Gunasekhar is known for his movies like Choodalani Vundi, Okkadu, and Rudramadevi. However, the filmmaker chose to make something for Gen Z, hoping that the film would give the right message to the youngsters and their parents about morality, he carved “Euphoria”.

Well, the film is centered around the 2022 Hyderabad Amnesia pub Gangrape incident till the first half. In the second half, Gunasekhar carved out a new story where he narrates that uncared juvenile prisoners might turn out into more rogues with criminal behaviour adopted inside the jail.

In one of those scenes, the lead actor, who is the main accused in the gangrape case, in an inebriated state after consuming drugs, tries to give a liplock to his own mother, played by Bhumika. This is such a disgusting scene that it shocked viewers in the second half of “Euphoria”. It’s too much to consume, though it might be happening in real life somewhere.

There are many such incestuous attacks by fathers and daughters, brothers on sisters, and sons on mothers, but showcasing them inside a mainstream movie is something indigestible. Later, that kid reforms and becomes a good boy, as Gunasekhar delivers that usual happy-ending climax.
