It’s funny how trouble sometimes sneaks in like a stray spark from a firecracker, small at first, then suddenly everyone’s talking about it. That’s exactly what happened with three actresses in a row, starting with Rukmini Vasanth. She sounded firm and a bit fed up when she revealed that someone was pretending to be her on WhatsApp. She even dropped the number publicly, saying, “Here, take a good look at this nonsense.” Her message was simple: don’t trust random texts, and if something feels off, just check with her team.

Shriya Saran faced the same issue soon after. She posted a screenshot of the fake account and clearly stated that the person was pretending to be her. She mentioned that the fake profile was messaging people she genuinely admires and hopes to work with. Her post showed that she was annoyed but also slightly amused by the situation.

But before both of them, Aditi Rao Hydari had already walked through the same mess. Someone used her name to approach photographers pretending to hire them. She quickly shut it down and shared the number being used.

Aditi, who was last seen in the hit Netflix series Heeramandi, is now gearing up for her next film Parivarik ManuRanjan and the upcoming Netflix series O Sathi Re. Three actresses, three impersonation attempts, it’s almost like a mini epidemic of fake WhatsApp profiles. People trust too easily online, and suddenly they’re talking to someone who isn’t even close to the real deal.

Rukmini is coming up with a project starring Jr. NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel. Shriya Saran has appeared in a special “Kanaga” song in the upcoming film Non-Violence. All three actresses, big or small, are caught in these impersonation issues but are still busy with their own projects.
