Steamy Beach Song Goes Missing From 'Fighter'!

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's high-budget action drama 'Fighter' got released on 25th January with decent expectations. There was not a huge buzz on the movie due to its mediocre promotional content. The trailer and songs did not impress the people a lot. But people who watched the film on the first day were surprised as 'Fighter' exceeded their expectations. The Siddharth Anand directorial got a positive talk from the critics and public alike.
The emotional scenes and the thrilling fighter jet action sequences backed by stellar performances from the lead cast make it worth a watch this weekend. Though the movie has its share of flaws, the movie definitely provides a fantastic theatre experience. But people were shocked to see the romantic beach song 'Ishq Jaisa Kuch' go missing in the final cut. Despite the average music, the unlimited glamour feast from both Deepika and Hrithik made the song go viral before the release.
However, sources claim that the censor board asked the team to chop this song entirely. Apparently, they were not okay with top fighter pilots dressed indecently and being intimate on the beach. This made the makers take the song out and people who saw the film claim that it is the right decision. 'Fighter' is filled with high action and emotion. Such a steamy beach song will not fit into the film's narrative and look forceful. It looks like Deepika's bikini show and Hrithik's flaunting of six packs are just restricted to YouTube.
Siddharth Anand's previous film 'Pathaan' too had a similar problem as people were not okay with the heroine wearing a highly revealing orange bikini and dancing sensuously. A lot of Hindu organizations found fault in it and it quickly subsided due to SRK's involvement. Interestingly, it is Deepika Padukone who is the heroine in both these songs.
