Tollywood had multiple films releasing this Sankranti season, but there is this one particular film that has failed miserably and has landed the producer in a financial mess. It is reported that the situation is getting particularly detrimental for everyone involved.

A recently released big budget film has reportedly turned into a major flop, leaving not only the producer but also several distributors facing heavy financial losses. While the theatrical performance has already caused damage, fresh concerns are now emerging from within the industry.

According to inside sources, several technicians, VFX teams, and studio partners who worked on the film have still not received their pending payments.

Many of them had reportedly agreed to defer a portion of their remuneration until after the film’s release, trusting the producer’s assurance that dues would be cleared once post release revenues came in.

It is said that the producer had promised to settle the outstanding amounts using the money from the OTT deal after the theatrical run. However, industry insiders now claim that the producer has stopped responding to calls and messages regarding the payments. This has reportedly created frustration among the technicians and vendors who are waiting for their hard earned money.

With no clear communication or timeline for payment, affected workers are now considering taking the issue to the Film Chamber for intervention. If the matter escalates into a formal dispute, it could further complicate the already troubled situation surrounding the film.
