Buzz: Senior Directors & Their Cinema Setting Plans

Out of the blue, Tollywood’s senior and forgotten directors who have been delivering only flops in recent times have become the talk of the town. Especially the likes of Puri Jagan, VV Vinayak and Meher Ramesh, who have shown nightmares to the audience with their recent projects, are back in the discussion.

After the flop show of the Ismart Shankar sequel, Double Ismart, at the box office, Puri Jagan took a lot of time to at least find a hero for his next film. He is now coming up with the movie Slumdog, which has Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. Even before this project was released, he is said to have approached Suriya now to narrate a story, and the project has almost been confirmed, as per inside talk.

Similarly, with Meher Ramesh and VV Vinayak sharing a selfie the other day with Prabhas, many rumours are flowing big. Though Meher Ramesh, previously associated with Prabhas, delivered a classy film like Billa, and Vinayak crafted an emotional actioner film like Yogi, their re-association with the Pan-India superstar is creating tremors. Sources close to both confirmed, however, that this is just a casual dinner, but not for any project.

Industry sources, however, say that whenever senior directors meet these big stars, it's mostly about the cinema setting only, but nothing else. They are not confirming anything unless they get confirmation from the star heroes. We have to see what happens with these three directors now.
