This Film Has No Luck On Digital Streaming Too

In fact, currently, it is perceived that if a film fails to click inside theatres, there are high chances that the movie will achieve top numbers when it surfaces on Digital streaming. Many films that failed to click in the theatres have made extraordinary impressions when they were released on OTT platforms. At the same time, films that ran very well in the theatres have failed to click during their digital streaming.

However, Sitara Entertainment's Funky, which features Vishwaksen in the lead, has had tough luck, we have to say, though the film hasn't worked inside the theatres. The Anudeep directorial isn't even getting any numbers, even though it started streaming on Netflix. Usually, the trolling on social media also shows how much engagement the film is actually getting. Neither Sithara nor fans of Vishwaksen are talking about this movie in the first place. Also the lack of superhit songs, any special activities that made the story special and Kayadu Lohar's fanbase just limited to her glamour treats, Funky is not enjoying special craze now, even on OTT platform.

While Vishwaksen tried to balance the bad talk around Funky by releasing the teaser of Cult when that film was in theatres, somehow, nothing changed the equation. At least, films should get attention on OTT if not in theatres, that would make the effort of the producers worthwhile. Many are wondering why Anudeep KV, known for Jathiratnalu and Prince, hasn’t taken enough care of the script to deliver Funky.
