'Mangalavaaram': 'Ganagana Mogalira' brims with Telugu nativity
This song, composed by 'Kantara' sensation B Ajaneesh Loknath and sung by VM Mahalingam, comes with an interesting premise
Telugu nativity is not just about showing green fields and romanticizing the hospitality of the Telugu people. It is also about staging songs rooted in the Jathara culture. Many rural festivals in the Telugu States involve fervent praying and dancing in festivals dedicated to Goddesses, both tribal and others.
'RX 100' fame director Ajay Bhupathi is making a spell-binding action thriller titled 'Mangalavaaram'. In it, the song 'Ganagana Mogalira' is about villagers worshipping their Protector (the Goddess). This song, composed by 'Kantara' sensation B Ajaneesh Loknath and sung by VM Mahalingam, comes with an interesting premise. Every Tuesday, the village sees a killing. The panic-stricken residents hold the Jathara with fervour and urge the deity to rid them of the tragedy.
Payal Rajput, Nandita Swetha and Ajay Ghosh are playing prominent roles. The film also features Laxman, Chaitanya Krishna, and others. This is a multi-lingual release: Telugu, Hindi Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam are the languages in which the pan-India action thriller will be released.
Ajay Bhupathi's A Creative Works along with Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M of Mudhra Media Works are producing this movie.
