'Gangs Of Godavari' To Touch Breakeven By Monday!

After a long wait, 'Gangs Of Godavari' has finally arrived in theatres. This film which hit the screens on 31st May opened to packed houses across the Telugu states. It is a gangster drama set in rural areas of the Godavari region. The expectations were high on the film because of its intense trailer and hit songs. The trade pundits reveal that it got the highest openings in Vishwak Sen's career.

The hero has delivered a superb performance in this film. Though the critics gave mixed responses to this flick claiming that the second half is less engaging, the collections are quite solid. With not many big films in competition, the returns for the entire weekend are expected to be good as well. If this continues, analysts predict that the movie will touch the breakeven mark by Monday. This will be huge as the makers spent well on the film without looking at the market of Vishwak Sen.

The intense background score given by Yuvan Shankar Raja turned out to be the biggest asset of the movie. He elevated a lot of scenes in the movie and action sequences are getting a lot of praise too. Especially, the fight before the interval point is being talked about a lot. Apart from Vishwak, the main artists like Anjali, Neha Shetty, Goparaju Ramana, Nasser and others have delivered commendable performances too. Dialogues penned by director Krishna Chaitanya are highly impressive and will grab the audience attention instantly. Despite a few flaws in the second half, the movie is turning out to be the first choice for the audience this weekend.
