Gautham Menon To Direct Lady Superstar Soon?

Gautham Menon is one of the elite filmmakers in South India who created a separate fanbase with his brand of love stories and cop thrillers. His 'Ye Maya Chesave', 'Surya S/o Krishnan', 'Gharshana' and others are evergreen films. He is even seen acting a couple of films these days and he is one name that cannot be forgotten easily. He made his debut with 'Minnale' back in 2001 as a director.

Known for his unique style, he creates a separate brand. His last directorial with Simbu was a big hit in Tamil and people are waiting for its second part. However, his 'Druva Nakshatram' which has been in the boxes for a long time is unable to come out for some reason. He is now focused on his upcoming project and sources say that it is going to have Nayanthara playing the lead role.

Popularly called Lady Superstar, Nayanthara completed two decades in the film industry and did many content-based films as well as commercial entertainers. She never worked with Gautham Menon till date and sources say that they are teaming up soon. Malayalam legendary actor Mammootty will be seen playing a key role as per reports. We need to see if it is a bilingual or a pan-Indian project. Nayan and Mammootty worked together back in 2016 and it will be their second film.
