'Gladiator II' Trailer: Bring Back Those Epic Battles!

'Gladiator' is one of the biggest blockbusters in Hollywood. This epic action saga which was released in 2000 took the world by storm and many of its scenes became iconic. The sequel to such a big film is quite risky but it is getting ready now. 'Gladiator 2' is arriving with a lot of hype and Ridley Scott who made the original is directing the second part as well.

The trailer is out now and it looks nothing short of brilliant. The story is now focused on Lucius (Paul Mescal) who is the son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen). The nephew of violent and psychotic Commdus (Joaquin Phoenix) too and Lucius is sent away to Africa by his mom to protect him. But he returns as a gladiator to Rome. He is now challenged by General Marcus Acacious (Pedro Pascal) and arms dealer Macrinus (Denzel Washington) too play a pivotal part in the whole story.

The epic action sequences, the grandeur, the stunning sets are all back once again. With a high talented cast, 'Gladiator 2' is going to a feast for action lovers once again and the drama is going to be gripping as well. Hans Zimmer's music not being there is the only disappointment in the trailer. The choice to go with a trendy background score with a lot of beats may not appeal to the audience. Releasing on 22nd November, the trailer has definitely showcased us what to expect from this high-budget action saga. Let us see if it holds the same magic as the first part or not.
