Vaazha 2 Is About Moments: Gopichand Malineni

Vaazha 2 has emerged as a massive blockbuster in Malayalam, already crossing 200 crore in worldwide gross. Now, one of its producers, Sahu Garapati, is bringing the film to Telugu audiences.

Sahu Garapati revealed that he loved Vaazha so much that he wanted to be part of its sequel. “When I approached Vipin Das, I told him I wanted to be involved in Vaazha 2. He extended great support and gave me the opportunity to join the film’s production. When I watched the climax, not just me, but everyone around me was moved to tears. I felt this emotional depth would strongly connect with Telugu audiences as well. That’s why we decided to dub and release it in Telugu,” he said.

Director Gopichand Malineni congratulated Sahu Garapati for delivering some of the biggest blockbusters of the year in both Telugu and Malayalam. “My congratulations to all the youngsters who worked on Vaazha 2. When I met Vipin Das and asked him what Vaazha means, he said it is all about the moments and experiences in everyone’s life. He mentioned that the story would connect universally, and it truly does. Congratulations to director Savin for bringing this vision to life,” he stated.

Young actor Teja Sajja expressed confidence in Telugu audiences, saying they always support good cinema regardless of language. “Producer Sahu is a very good friend of mine. He is a very honest person and has started the year with a 300 crore grosser. Since this film is already a blockbuster in Malayalam, this event feels like a success meet. I would like to congratulate both Vipin Das and Savin on the success. I hope the film performs strongly in Telugu as well,” he said.

Vaazha 2 is set for release on the 24th of this month.
