Gopi Sundar Fails Big Time With 'Family Star'!

Gopi Sundar is one Malayalam music composer who gained a good fanbase in Telugu with his soulful music in films like 'Majili', 'Geetha Govindham', 'Ninnu Kori' and others. He is an expert in giving music to heartfelt love stories. He did big movies in Malayalam but his reach and popularity grew after working in Telugu films. Even his background scores have a lot of feel in it.

Known for his refreshing songs and background score, people expected a lot of when he was announced as the composer for 'Family Star'. The combination of 'Geetha Govindham' too raised expectations on the film. He is now facing a lot of criticism for 'Family Star'. The negativity started with songs but it increased multifold after listening to the background score.

Though 'Kalyani Vacha Vacha' and 'Madhuramu' from 'Family Star' are good to listen too, he is facing complaints of getting inspired from other tunes. Especially, the 'Kalyani' song is way too similar to 'Attarintiki' from 'Okkadu'. Madhuramu Kada song is reminding people of 'Jiya Jale' from Dil Se movie. Due to this, Gopi Sundar is facing a lot of heat on social media.

The re-recording is completely in the non-sync and people are mainly talking about the fight scene in Ravibabu's office where he gave a background score with Sanskrit slokas. His music in action episodes failed big time. He failed to deliver in other parts of the movie too. With this, people are wondering what happened to a music composer like Gopi Sundar.
