Despite the mixed talk, the family audiences enjoyed the film during the festive season and the movie entered the 100 crore share club recently making it Mahesh's 5th 100 crore film in a row.

The makers have now mentioned that 'Guntur Karam' has raked a worldwide gross of 212 crores thereby smashing a lot of records. The numbers are highly impressive and the recovery rates are astonishingly high. The team claims that 80% of the cost has been recouped already and it underlines the immense audience resonance the film has garnered. Mahesh's star power is on full display. The movie got huge collections over the first weekend and it is doing steadily even now as well says the movie's unit.
