'Hanu-Man' Takes The First Spot Rather Than 'Guntur Karam'!

There are a string of films releasing during the Sankranti weekend. As we all know, 'Guntur Karam' is the biggest of the lot since it is Mahesh Babu's film. There are a couple of other crazy movies like Ravi Teja's 'Eagle', Venkatesh's 'Saindhav', Nag's 'Naa Saami Ranga' and Teja Sajja's 'Hanu-Man'. With Mahesh's first arriving on the 12th and the songs getting popular, one would expect it to be the most-awaited film. But it is not!

According to 'BookMyShow', it is 'Hanu-Man' which has the most number of people interested in watching the movie among the Pongal releases. It is leading with 169.5k interests while Mahesh's 'Guntur Karam' has 168.7k interests. Teja Sajja's film getting more interests than Mahesh Babu's flick is capturing a lot of attention from the public.

After that, 'Saindhav' has 63k interests and Nagarjuna's 'Naa Sami Ranga' has 41k interests. The last one is Ravi Teja's 'Eagle' with 18.2k interests. Though these numbers don't replicate into box office figures as Mahesh Babu's movie will obviously get more money at the box office, it is good to see that the audience are showing interest in watching fresh content even if it is from young talent and not from a star hero.

Teja Sajja is the hero in this film while Amrita Aiyer is the heroine. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role along with other actors like Samuthirakani, Getup Srinu, Vennela Kishore and others. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainments, the movie is hitting the big screens on 12th January in Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese languages.
