Tollywood's 2024 first blockbuster, "HanuMan," starring Teja Sajja and directed by Prasanth Varma, is approaching its final week in theatres. Seeking to keep the momentum going, a strategic move has been made to boost collections. The Nizam region, encompassing Hyderabad and Telangana, has slashed ticket prices significantly, hoping to reignite audience interest.

From now until February 23rd, moviegoers in Nizam can catch "HanuMan" for a mere INR 150 in multiplexes and INR 100 in single screens. This drastic reduction comes after a noticeable decline in footfall over the past weeks. Although the film boasts a wide release across 300 theatres, distributors are concerned about maintaining momentum and have opted for a cost-effective approach to maximize theatre maintenance.

While the theatrical run winds down, "HanuMan" is set for an early March OTT premiere. This strategic move ensures a broader audience reach and profit, especially considering the government-imposed restrictions on ticket pricing in Andhra Pradesh. The combination of the final theatrical push and the upcoming OTT release ensures "HanuMan" will conclude its successful run with both theatrical profits and wider digital accessibility.
