'Hanu-Man' Earns More Than 'KGF 1' & 'Kantara' In Hindi!

Prasanth Varma and Teja Sajja's superhero flick 'Hanu-Man' has definitely proven to be a Sankranti blockbuster. The movie arrived as a small film with limited release due to heavy competition but the highly positive talk right from the premiers made the viewers get into the theatres in large numbers. Also, the content is superb and it catered to every set of audience.
The movie has crossed the $3 million mark within four days and grossed more than 100 crores as well. Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the collections in the Hindi belt. He said, "#HanuMan continues to perform best in mass pockets / #Hindi heartland, which is adding weight to its total… Eyes ₹ 23 cr+ biz in *Week 1*, an EXCELLENT TOTAL, which is HIGHER than *Week 1* of #KGF [first part] and #Kantara [both #Hindi versions]."
He added, "#HanuMan Fri 2.15 cr, Sat 4.05 cr, Sun 6.17 cr, Mon 3.80 cr, Tue 2.60 cr, Wed 2.25 cr. Total: ₹ 21.02 cr. #India biz. Note: #Hindi version. #Telugu version in #NorthIndia: Fri 24 lacs, Sat 40 lacs, Sun 45 lacs, Mon 28 lacs, Tue 17 lacs, Wed 15 lacs. Total: ₹ 1.69 cr."
Earning 23 crores on its first week in North India is a huge task and it is more than what 'KGF – Chapter 1' and 'Kantara' earned in their first week of release in Hindi. We should keep in mind that this film doesn't have any big star who the North Indians already knew. This shows that content is the king no matter what. Teja Sajja is the hero while Amrita Aiyer is the heroine. Vinay Rai played the villain role.
Prasanth Varma already announced that 'Jai Hanuman' will be released in 2025. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played a key role along with other actors like Samuthirakani, Getup Srinu, Vennela Kishore and others. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainments, the movie is released in Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, and other languages.
