As we know, superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Karam' and Prasanth Varma's 'Hanu-Man' are releasing on 12th January. While one film is a huge commercial action entertainer with a big hero, the other film is a superhero flick with good quality that has a young hero in the lead. Both parties have made it clear that they won't back out from the announced release date. Now, theatre allotment has become a huge issue.

'Hanu-Man' producer Niranjan Reddy said, "There are 76 operational single-screen theaters in Hyderabad. Out of that, if seventy are going to one film, you (the media) will have to decide if that is not monopoly or discrimination. Multiplexes will be given as per demand. We are not demanding all the theaters. Give us 15-20 theaters. Later audience will decide based on the content."

He added, "Competition should be always healthy. If you are not given an opportunity to fight, that does not work like that. We are fighting for proper release so that we can prove the strength of our content. We are fighting for it and hope things will get better. Dil Raju asked us to come on 11th or 14th but we have problems with Hindi Business. So, we could not adjust."

He is quite confident about the movie doing well at the box-office. He claims, "We will have trouble for 2-3 days but I trust my content. I believe the film will have a 5-6 weeks run. I will take it up as a challenge. Not one Sankranthi, I will come for ten Sankranthis on a trot." Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
