The trailer of 'Hanu-Man' has finally arrived. The makers released it on time and this original superhero flick will showcase the heroics of the lead character played by Teja Sajja. Prasanth Varma has built a Cinematic Universe and 'Hanu-Man' is just the beginning. The trailer is highly impressive and the visuals look spectacular for a film that was made on a controlled budget.
Set in the fantasy world named Anjanadri, this story is inspired from the Itihasas Of Akhand Bharat. Teja Sajja looks the part and played the superhero role with conviction while it is Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar who steals the limelight as the hero's elder sister. The underwater sequence shows the protagonist going close to a pearl shell shining like a star with a pleasant voice in the background chanting- Yatho Dharma Tato Hanuma... Yatho Hanuma Tato Jaya... (Where there is righteousness, there is Hanuman, and where there is Hanuman there is victory).” This establishes the plot perfectly.
Where is trailer excels is in showcasing how powerful the villain. Upon his arrival, he destroys everything and doesn't even spare the children. The protagonist is also brutally attacked. He discovered his superpowers with the help of science and also formed his army looking for that power that makes him the monarch of the world. When darkness eclipses Dharma, the ancients shall rise again. We finally got the Darshan of Lord Hanuman in the end.
The world-building is done fantastically in the trailer. The protagonist emerges as a superhero as he runs alongside a cheetah, lifts a hill, and bashes baddies in his tribe, because of all the superpowers he possesses. The Anjanadri looks beautiful with a huge Hanuman statue and immense greenery all over. The teaser does not give away a lot of details and the heroine is not at all shown which makes the viewers even more curious.
Vinay Rai frightens us with his villainy acts, whereas Samuthirakani makes his presence felt as a Sadhu. Get-up Srinu and Vennela Kishore are also seen in the trailer. The background score by Hari Gowra elevates the scenes. While he brings the divine feel with Shlokas to the scenes involving the protagonist, the destruction of the villain is felt through the sound as well. The visuals are stunning and it is what attracts you the most. Though the VFX is a bit tacky at places, we can appreciate the immense effort of the makers in providing great quality within the available resources.
Produced by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainments, the movie is hitting the big screens on 12th January in Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese languages.
