1 Day For HHVM: What Are The Records in AP/TS?
RRR is still the biggest blockbuster in AP and Telangana with a distributor share of ₹272.31 crore.;
Pawan Kalyan will be returning to the big screens with his upcoming film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is releasing in theatres on July 24. As the film is preparing for its release, here is a look at the existing records for the highest collecting Telugu films in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
RRR is still the biggest blockbuster in AP and Telangana with a distributor share of ₹272.31 crore. It is followed by Pushpa 2: The Rule with ₹226.71 crore, and Baahubali 2 with ₹204 crore. Recently released Kalki 2898 AD also did very well, earning ₹187.27 crore and taking 4th place.
Devara Part 1 collected ₹162.80 crore and stands in 5th position. Other major films on the list include Salaar (₹150.73 crore), Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (₹130.17 crore), Sarileru Neekevvaru (₹117.50 crore), Sankranthiki Vasthunam (₹115.61 crore in 13 days), and Waltair Veerayya (₹115.10 crore).
Some other big hits just missed the top 10 list, like Baahubali: The Beginning (₹114 crore), Sye Raa (₹106 crore), and Rangasthalam (₹95 crore).
In terms of opening week records, RRR leads with ₹187.65 crore, followed by Pushpa 2 with ₹161.90 crore, Kalki 2898 AD with ₹135.32 crore, and Salaar with ₹128.54 crore.
It would be interesting to see if Hari Hara Veera Mallu would be able to come close to any of these records, particularly with the kind of price hikes that have been permitted for this film.
