Usually, the Indian social and family situation revolves around the concept of children and nurturing parent. But it appears that leading Telugu director, Harish Shankar is of the conclusion that he and his wife do not need to have any kids. Here is what he had to say on this matter when asked about the same by the Media.
Harish Shankar revealed that he was the eldest son in his house, and he had to fulfil the responsibilities of getting his sisters and brothers, married, and getting settled in life.
“ I gave everything for my siblings, and my wife was by my side all along this journey. After having done so much for my family, I decided not to take any more family oriented responsibilities from now on. That is the reason why me and my wife sat down and decided not to have kids. We are not ready to take any social responsibilities from now on” Harish Shankar said.
The talented director had another interesting example to validate his statement as he brought up the topic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The reason why Narendra Modi is so very successful and politics and is currently serving his third term as the prime minister is because of the fact that he has no deviations or responsibilities in the form of children. In reality, the concept of responsibility and burden starts only when people have children. For instance, look at Prime Minister Modi, he is able to serve the people of the country because he has no responsibility of children.” Harish stated.
It can be noted that another Tollywood director, Koratala Siva also does not have children and now it is Harish Shankar, who has joined the bandwagon.
