Harish Shankar Must Leave "Chiranjeevi" Dream?

Not too long ago, Director Harish Shankar was one of the most trusted commercial film director in Telugu Cinema. He was one of the few directors who knew the mass pulse and could make films that cater to the larger audience. In particular, his ability to remake other language films was next to none.

However, things went horribly wrong with Harish Shankar and Ravi Teja’s recent film, Mr. Bachchan. This film turned out to be such a big disaster that doubts were raised about the upcoming filmography of Director Harish Shankar.

Harish set up a film with Ram Pothineni and even soft announce it. However, due to Mr Bachchan, this film with Ram also went to the shed. On the contrary, there were occasional reports that Harish Shankar could be working with Chiranjeevi for one of his upcoming films. It was reported that certain story discussions also happened on this front.

However, Chiranjeevi appeared to have changed his mind after Mr. Bachchan, as he set up interesting films with Anil Ravipudi and Director Bobby. Then he has the film with Director Srikanth Odela as well. He is no longer in the mind space to work with Harish Shankar.

As things stand, the dream of working with Chiranjeevi is as good as gone for Harish Shankar. More than us, he should be aware of the situation because he is the man in the shoes and he could perhaps be planning some other project with some other Hero because he simply can’t wait too long just to get confirmation on whether or not, Chiranjeevi is ready to work with him.
