Power Star Pawan Kalyan who is the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has recently made some interesting comments. He said, “Back in the day, heroes used to play the roles of forest conservators and righteous men. But today, those who cut down trees and do smuggling activities have become heroic characters on screen.”

He said that he didn't like that and people started claiming that his remarks were aimed at Icon Star Allu Arjun and his blockbuster film 'Pushpa'. As we know, he played the role of red sanders smuggler in the film and the second part is coming in December. It is one of the most-awaited films in India and Pawan's comments triggered a huge fan war on social media.

When asked about it during the promotion of 'Mr Bachchan', Harish Shankar gave a balanced answer. As a filmmaker who made films with both Pawan and Allu Arjun in the past, Harish said, “Pawan is a very honest man in real life. He has a lot of social responsibility and he is the minister of forest and environment too. Due to that, he took it as a reference and made those statements. Moreover, people don't follow everything movies showcase.” He stated that no one walked into the theatres with axes after watching 'Pushpa'.

His comments have become viral now. Allu Arjun fans were not happy with Pawan's words as they said that reel life is different from real life and pointed out the fact that Pawan himself played a lot of gangster roles in movies like 'Panjaa', 'Balu' and the upcoming 'OG' as well. Things between Allu fans and Pawan fans are heated ever since Allu Arjun extended his support to a YSRCP candidate in the recent elections.
