Udhayanidhi Stalin is a name that needs no introduction for those who are familiar with politics. He is the third generation leader from the Karunanidhi family. His family has been in politics for a few decades. MK Stalin won the recent elections and became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, the scion of the family took a different path and he is an actor as well. Before venturing into politics, he was among the promising talents. In the recent elections, he won as an MLA and became the Cabinet Minister. As balancing both films and politics are tough, he decided to quit films. He announced the same.
Earlier, he said that Maamannan would be his last film and he will not do any films next. When he said that, a few people had doubts about whether he would stop doing films or not. But he cleared all the doubts.
Maamannan's 50 Days Celebrations event was held as the film completed 50 days. Distributors and technicians were present at the event. The Actor-politician is said to have talked about the decision and made it clear that he will stand by his word and will not make any films.
Adding further, the hero said that he had already taken the decision and he will not take any backstep on this. I have already taken the decision and will not change it, the hero reportedly said.
Talking about Maamannan movie, it is directed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. The film talks about the atrocities against certain communities in the society and how the hero fought it and emerged victorious.
