Hey Balwant: Producer's Shocking Claims On Collections

Hero Suhaas’ latest movie, Hey Balwant, was released last week amidst very low expectations. With the hero's recent movies not doing well at the box office, especially after Ambajipeta Marriage Band, many thought that even this film would not get any attention. However, if the words of producer Vamsi Nandipati are anything to go by, it looks like Suhas hit a jackpot.

In fact, Hey Balwant got mixed reactions from critics, while everyone praised the first half for hilarious comedy, as the second half and the core twist of the hero's father's business were smashed. However, say it due to the one-liner entertainment provided by comedian Sudarshan or due to the lack of any other entertaining films at the box office, Hey Balwant posted decent collections.

As per the producer, the theatrical collections, OTT price, and other non-theatrical collections have brought back the invested ₹10 crores on this project. As Hey Balwant is still doing well at the box office with not much big competition around, and the USA collections are also looking very hopeful, the makers felt that they would be in a profit zone within a couple of days.

Directed by newcomer Gopi Achera and featuring Suhas and Sivani Nagaram in the lead roles, with a stunning role by senior actor Naresh, and comedians Sudarshan and Vennela Kishore creating a laugh-riot, Hey Balwant has given relief for the hero.
