High Pressure On Murugadoss This Time

Murugadoss is a name that needs no introduction. The star director who created a sensation in South India with movies like 'Ghajini', 'Ramana', 'Thuppaki', 'Kaththi', and '7th Sense' has lost his Midas touch. He made 'Stalin' with Chiranjeevi which was quite average but the biggest disappointment from his till date was 'Spyder'. This Mahesh Babu starrer shocked everyone who hoped that it would turn out to be a blockbuster.

He later made 'Sarkar' with Vijay and it ran only because of the star hero's craze. His 'Darbar' with Rajnikanth too did not please many. His subpar films and lack of form made the Tamil star heroes stay away from him. The Telugu heroes are in no mood to give him a chance after watching 'Spyder'.

Sources claim that he finally managed to convince a happening Tamil hero and it is Siva Karthikeyan. The talented actor is known for his different films and reports claim that Murugadoss has come up with an interesting concept this time. Gorgeous beauty Mrunal Thakur is making her Tamil debut with this film which is expected to be the most expensive flick in SK's career.

Anirudh will be giving the music and pre-production works are currently going on. If this fall in place, the shooting will begin by the end of 2023 and the 'Kaththi' director wants to wrap it up quickly and release it in the first half of 2024. There is high pressure on Murugadoss this time and the supremely talented director needs to deliver big time in order to stay relevant. Let us wait and see what happens.
