The upcoming month of March 2026 is shaping up to be a high-stakes battleground at the Indian Box office. While Dhurandhar 2 release date was announced as March 19th during its release day (Dec 5th), the likes of Yash’s Toxic and Ram Charan’s Peddi have locked their dates, March 19th and March 27th, much in advance. Here’s the twist, though.

After watching Dhurandhar, many advised both Yash’s Toxic and Charan’s Peddhi to stay out of the March race, because the Aditya Dhar directorial featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead looks like a Box Office monster. However, looking at Chikri’s song success, it looks like Peddi won’t back off. Now, looking at the teaser of Toxic, which was released the other day, even Yash’s movie won’t step back.

So, what happens if all these three films hit in the month of March without a hitch? The issue of screen availability in the North Indian belt would become a serious concern. Region-wise, there will be no issue with Peddi, likely to grab 90% of theatres in Telugu states, and the same is the case with Toxic on March 19 in Karnataka. However, the issues arise in the North belt, where Dhurandhar 2 is likely to get many screens.

But with Toxic backed by Bollywood’s big distributors, surely the film might get an equal number of screens like Dhurandhar 2. As a week's gap is there between these two films and Peddi, Charan’s movie will get screens depending on the success of these two films. Also, Peddi is backed by some Bollywood bigwigs, so there might be some perfect sharing agreement already.

With massive investments riding on these projects, the coming weeks are going to reveal if this crowded release calendar turns into a Box Office bonanza or unwanted congestion.
