Emotional Melody Gadapa wins hearts: Idupu Kayitham on Dec 11th
Starring Humble Hero Priyadarshi and folk sensation Naga Durga, the film is steadily creating interest with its Telangana-rooted family backdrop.
The team of Idupu Kayitham has delivered two important updates for audiences, launching the film’s second song Gadapa at a grand event and officially announcing December 11 as its theatrical release date.
Starring Humble Hero Priyadarshi and folk sensation Naga Durga, the film is steadily creating interest with its Telangana-rooted family backdrop. The first single, Srilatha, has already become a chartbuster, and Gadapa continues the musical journey with a more emotional and culturally grounded presentation.
Celebrating the traditions of Telangana weddings, Gadapa explores the changes and responsibilities that enter a woman’s life after marriage. Its lyrics reflect the affection, relationships, expectations, and emotional experiences of a newly married bride, giving the song a meaning that goes beyond a conventional melody.
Abhinaya Srinivas’ writing captures these nuances beautifully, while Telu Vijaya’s soulful folk voice lends the composition a strong sense of authenticity and feeling. Suresh Bobbili once again brings his distinctive musical identity to the film, crafting a composition that complements the cultural backdrop and strengthens the song’s emotional appeal.
The portrayal of Telangana marriage traditions is one of the song’s major attractions, while Priyadarshi and Naga Durga’s chemistry makes the visuals even more special. Their natural on-screen presence brings warmth to the song, allowing audiences to connect with both the characters and the traditions being celebrated.
Idupu Kayitham is directed by Vamsi Reddy Dondapati and produced by Bunny Vas and Thabitha Sukumar under Bunny Vas Works and Sukumar Writings. Alongside Priyadarshi and Naga Durga, the cast includes Shivajyothi (Teenmar Savithri), Sujatha (Jordar Sujatha), Chandravva, Mounika Reddy, Racha Ravi, Bithiri Sathi, Abhay Bethiganti, Mime Madhu, and others.
